Mourning or Morning October 25, 2007
When Madeleine wakes up, whether it is 1 am or 6 am, she always greets me with “mourning”. She will usually follow that with some other request (i.e. crying, milk, etc). It is very cute the way that she says it and now as she is getting better with her “words” it is slowing turning into the proper pronunciation of “morning”. I will miss it when it is gone, it always brings a smile to my face!
Like when we play train and Elliot is the “raboost.” I don’t correct him. He’s already such a big kid that I need these reminders that he’s still my baby.
